    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) of a group of UEs may communicate with other members of the group to provide data or other information via sidelinks. The UE may transmit a groupcast sidelink request to the base station. After receiving the sidelink request, the base station may send a sidelink grant (e.g., transmit or receive grant) in downlink control information (DCI) to the UEs in the sidelink groupcast communications group. The sidelink grant may include information for each hop such as which UEs are going to transmit or receive, the reception or transmission beams of the UEs, time and frequency resources, or the data to forward or relay. In some examples, a UE may relay information to other UEs in the sidelink groupcast communications group.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a first user equipment (UE) may transmit sidelink communications to a second UE, and the second UE may provide feedback associated with the sidelink communication to the first UE in a sidelink control information (SCI) transmission. In some cases, the SCI is first stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink control channel or second stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink shared channel. The feedback may include one or more of acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgment feedback, channel state information feedback, a scheduling request, or any combinations thereof. In some cases, the first UE may indicate resources of the second slot to the second UE for transmission of the feedback in the SCI, such as by providing a time offset value and resource index that identifies the resources.

An example method includes receiving, from another device, first information at a first symbol of a first slot, the first slot including at least the first symbol and a first reference signal. The example method also includes receiving second information at a second symbol of a second slot, the second slot including at least the second symbol and a second reference signal, the first information and the second information being repetitions. The example method also includes generating a first reference signal copy based at least on the second reference signal and a phase jump between the first slot and the second slot. Additionally, the example method includes performing channel estimation across the first slot and the second slot based on an aggregation of the first reference signal and the first reference signal copy.

    Abstract: Beam management enhancements for advanced millimeter wave (mmWave) operations are disclosed. As a part of channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration, a user equipment may include an interference plus noise measurement of beams for consideration in beam management. The UE measures a set of signaling resources of each beam for power contribution and interference plus noise. According to the particular configuration, the UE may rank all of the available beams into a subset of the highest ranked beams, ranked either by the interference plus noise measurement, by the power contribution metric, or by a combination of both. The UE reports an identification of the subset to the serving base station which determines the beam to use for subsequent communications with the UE.
