    Abstract: Systems and method for configuring and providing discontinuous reception (DRX) operations in sidelink (SL) mode 1 and mode 2 are disclosed. A first user equipment (UE) may operate in DRX communications with a second UE over a SL while concurrently maintaining DRX communications with a base station. In some embodiments, DRX operations may include the first UE monitoring for either one or both of transmissions in a downlink from a base station and in the SL from the second UE during an active period of a DRX cycle of the DRX configuration. In embodiments, the UE may extend the active period associated with the DRX cycle when control information from either the base station or the second UE is received.     Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support resource selection and indication for sidelink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling. A transmitting UE determines sidelink resources for bundling a sidelink DMRS transmission to be transmitted to a receiving UE. In sidelink mode 1, the sidelink resources may be determined based on indications from a base station, which may include whether the transmitting UE is to maintain phase continuity over the sidelink resources during the bundling, or whether the transmitting UE is to include a phase jump reference signal with the bundled DMRS transmission to the receiving UE. In sidelink mode 2, the transmitting UE may select the sidelink resources based on the phase continuity capabilities of the transmitting UE and/or of the receiving UE, and/or based on a sensing of the sidelink channel. In some cases, the receiving UE may provide a resource recommendation to the transmitting UE.

The UE may communicate with a second wireless communication device, such as a second UE, on a sidelink utilizing a second set of CCs within the same frequency band. The first UE may map at least one second CC to a respective corresponding first CC and apply the one more carrier groupings to the second set of CCs to generate one or more second carrier groupings based on the mapping.
