  • Patent number: 11765612
Abstract: A method of wireless communication receives multiple beams from a base station. The method also simultaneously reports a signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) for multiple beams with a single channel measurement resource (CMR) and a single interference measurement resource (IMR). The single IMR is configured for multiple interference sources. A method of wireless communication by a base station configures a UE with a group of interference sources. The base station also configures the UE with an interference measurement resource associated with the group of interference sources.

  • Patent number: 11757592
Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for signaling the capability of a wireless communication device (e.g., a UE) to support demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling for channel estimation across two or more slots in the sidelink or uplink. In some examples, a transmitting UE may transmit a DMRS bundling indication to a receiving device (e.g., a receiving UE for sidelink DMRS bundling or a base station for uplink DMRS bundling). The DMRS bundling indication may indicate a capability of the transmitting UE to support DMRS bundling. The transmitting UE may then transmit a respective set of DMRSs within each of two or more slots during a DMRS bundling window to the receiving device based on the transmitting wireless communication device and the receiving device supporting DMRS bundling.

  • Patent number: 11751190
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one example, a first user equipment (UE) identifies a trigger condition associated with a first communication link with a base station and establishes a second communication link with a second UE. The UE may transmit a relay request to the second UE based on the trigger condition, wherein the relay request instructs the second UE to relay communications for the first UE. The first UE communicates with the base station via the second communication link. In another example, a base station establishes communication links with a first and second UE. The base station receives a data forwarding request that instructs the base station to use the second UE to relay communications between it and the first UE. The base station communicates with the first UE via the second communication link based at least in part on the relay request.

  • Publication number: 20230262733
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device (e.g., network entity, multiple user equipments (UEs)) may determine a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configuration for multiple UEs. The multiple UEs may receive a PTRS signal and data communication intended for the multiple UEs based on the determined PTRS configuration. In some examples, the multiple UEs may be known to the network entity as a group of UEs and the network entity may determine the PTRS configuration based on a condition of the group of UEs, a condition of each UE of the group of UEs, or both. The network entity may transmit the PTRS configuration to the group of UEs.

  • Publication number: 20230262618
Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow AGC symbols to be applied for identifying or indicating target Rx UEs of sidelink communications from Tx UEs. A Tx UE transmits an AGC signal to a Rx UE in a RB associated with the Rx UE. The Rx UE receives the AGC signal from the Tx UE. The Tx UE transmits sidelink data to the Rx UE after the AGC signal. The Rx UE decodes sidelink data from the Tx UE in response to the AGC signal being received in a RB associated with the Rx UE. The Rx UE refrains from decoding the sidelink data from the Tx UE in response to the AGC signal being received in a different RB than the RB associated with the Rx UE. In this way, Rx UEs may save monitoring and processing power and time in receiving and decoding sidelink communications.

  • Patent number: 11729812
Abstract: Aspects relate to obtaining, at a first scheduled entity, a first priority ranking of first uplink (UL) data scheduled for transmission to a scheduling entity and a first data scheduled for transmission to a second scheduled data, as well as a second priority ranking of second data scheduled for transmission to a third and fourth scheduled entity, respectively. The scheduling uses at least a portion of a sidelink resource reserved for sidelink communication for the transmissions. The scheduling of the transmissions using at least the portion of the sidelink resource are based on the first priority ranking and the second priority ranking. Various transmission cancellation and reception preemptions are transmitted from transmitting scheduled entities to other transmitting or receiving scheduled entities, respectively.
