  • Publication number: 20250004897
Abstract: A computer management system and a computer management method for remotely monitoring one or more computers are provided. The computer management system comprises a management server, an out-of-band hardware module, installed on each of the one or more computers, and an administration device. The management server is configured to monitor and control of the one or more computers. The out-of-band hardware module is configured to act as a client to connect to the management server via a network and monitor and control the respective computer in accordance with instructions sent from the management server. The administration device is configured to act as a client to connect to the management server via the network and instruct the out-of-band hardware module to perform the monitoring and controlling of the respective computer through the management server.

  • Patent number: 11200258
Abstract: A new approach is proposed to support grouping and storing a data stream based on the types of data items in the stream for efficient data batch processing and analysis. First, the data stream is uploaded to a cloud storage, wherein the stream of data includes a plurality of data items of different types generated by and collected from different users and/or devices. The data items are then retrieved, grouped and saved by a preprocessing unit into a plurality of batch data queues, wherein data items in each batch data queue are of the same type. One or more batch processing units are then configured to fetch and batch process data items from the batch data queues and store these data items of the same data type to one or more cloud storage files for further processing and analysis on the cloud storage one batch data queue at a time.

  • Patent number: 9825882
Abstract: The invention introduces a method for an automatic scaling of data consumers, performed by a processing unit of a data-consumer server, which contains at least the following steps. State-update requests are received from data consumers, where each state-update request includes a busy state or an idle state and the busy state indicates that the data consumer reads data from a queue and processes the read data. A first quantity of data consumers, a second quantity of busy states and a third quantity of idle states are calculated. A fourth quantity of data consumers to be produced is estimated according to the first, second and third quantities. Data consumers of the fourth quantity are produced.

  • Patent number: 7333453
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for supporting inter-NAT-domain handoff in a VPN by associating L2TP and mobile IP. A mobile node is able to roam from an Intranet to a foreign network, and implement a VPN by L2TP. The Intranet has a VPN gateway and a home agent corresponding to the mobile node. The foreign network has a NAT gateway. An L2TP (PPP) tunnel passing the NAT gateway is established between the mobile node in the foreign network and the VPN gateway. The L2TP (PPP) tunnel has a first terminal on the VPN gateway, with an address set to the home agent's IP address, and a second terminal on the mobile node, with an address set to the mobile node's CoA.

  • Patent number: 7266119
Abstract: A NAT system for supporting mobile IP in private networks and its method. A mobile node moves from its home network to a foreign private network and obtains a CoA from the private network. The mobile node sends a registration packet to a home agent in the home network. The registration packet has a swap address option field. A NAT device in the private network swaps the source address with the swap address of the registration packet, and translates the source address into the public address of the NAT device, thereby sending the registration packet to the home agent. After receiving the registration packet, the home agent responds a registration reply packet having a swap address option field filled in the CoA. The NAT device swaps the destination address with the swap address of the registration reply packet, thereby sending the registration reply packet to the mobile node.
