Abstract: A solar cell apparatus includes a support substrate, a back electrode layer on the support substrate, a light absorbing layer on the back electrode layer, a buffer layer on the light absorbing layer, a front electrode layer on the buffer layer, a first through hole in the back electrode layer to expose a top surface of the support substrate, and a second through hole through the light absorbing layer and the buffer layer, and overlapped with a portion of the first through hole. A method of fabricating the solar cell apparatus includes forming a back electrode layer on a support substrate, forming a first through hole, forming a light absorbing layer on the back electrode layer, forming a second through hole, and forming a front electrode layer on the light absorbing layer and in the second through hole overlapped with a portion of the first through hole.
