  • Publication number: 20230254458
Abstract: A laser beam scanning system includes a light source, a projection, a micro-mirror, a controller, and a light detection module. The light source generates a laser beam, and the micro-mirror deflects the laser beam to create a scan trajectory on the projection. The controller generates a control signal and a drive signal. The control signal turns the laser beam on and off, and the drive signal controls scan movements of the micro-mirror. The light detection module is placed at a margin of the projection. The light detection module includes a photo sensor underneath a light-blocking top layer having a slot to expose the photo sensor. The photo sensor generates a detection pulse in response to detection of the laser beam in one or more segments of the scan trajectory. The controller is operative to measure a detection pulse width in clock cycles.

  • Publication number: 20040192220
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a mechanism for switching a foldable cellular phone to a digital camera comprising a rotation member pivotally coupled between a display and a keypad thereof enabling the display to rotate 180 degrees and folded onto the keypad by a back of the display, wherein an image capture element being electrically connected to a control circuit thereof is provided on the back of the keypad, a magnet is provided at a side of the display; and a reed switch is provided on the keypad. Therefore, after the display being rotated 180 degrees and folded onto the keypad, the first reed switch is aligned with the magnet and switches the cellular phone to a camera mode, enabling the image capture element to take an image of an object.
