  • Patent number: 11932534
Abstract: A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) structure and method of forming the MEMS device, including forming a first metallization structure over a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) wafer, where the first metallization structure includes a first sacrificial oxide layer and a first metal contact pad. A second metallization structure is formed over a MEMS wafer, where the second metallization structure includes a second sacrificial oxide layer and a second metal contact pad. The first metallization structure and second metallization structure are then bonded together. After the first metallization structure and second metallization structure are bonded together, patterning and etching the MEMS wafer to form a MEMS element over the second sacrificial oxide layer. After the MEMS element is formed, removing the first sacrificial oxide layer and second sacrificial oxide layer to allow the MEMS element to move freely about an axis.

  • Publication number: 20200353385
Abstract: A filter apparatus includes a filter unit and a conveying unit. The filter unit is configured to filter a liquid to-be-filtered, and the liquid to-be-filtered enters the filter unit in a first tangent-line direction of the filter unit. The conveying unit extracts a liquid to-be-conveyed from a periphery of the filter unit to output a conveyed liquid, and the conveyed liquid enters the filter unit in a second tangent-line direction of the filter unit.

  • Patent number: 10562040
Abstract: A centrifugal filtering device includes a centrifugal drum and a rotary filter. The centrifugal drum has a receiving space for accommodating the source fluid. The rotary filter rotatably mounted in the receiving space includes a filter body and a filtrate discharge pipe. The filter body includes a filter cartridge defining a filtrate-collecting space. The filtrate discharge pipe connecting the filter body is communicative in space with the filtrate-collecting space. By rotating at least one of the centrifugal drum and the rotary filter, the source fluid is driven to generate a vortex by a centrifugal force. The centrifugal force drives the source fluid to form a heavy-phase fluid hitting the centrifugal drum and a light-phase fluid approaching the filter cartridge. The light-phase fluid passes the filter cartridge and then reaches the filtrate-collecting space as a filtrate, and the filtrate is exhausted via the filtrate discharge pipe of the centrifugal filtering device.

  • Patent number: 5993237
Abstract: A modular telephone plug having an elongated dielectric housing and a clip member attached that is adapted to fit into a standard RJ-type jack. More specifically, one end of the modular plug defines an electrical connector section to which wires from a telephone cord can be attached. For this purpose, the housing includes an internal channel through which the telephone cord can extend. The clip member is secured in a cantilevered manner at an end of the housing remote from the electrical connector section. The housing is also formed with a recess into which extends a free end of the clip member. The modular plug has an associated length of 1.1 to 1.5 inches (approximately 2.8 to 3.8 cm). With this construction, the modular telephone plug can be easily grasped and manipulated.

  • Patent number: 5893771
Abstract: A modular telephone plug (110) having an elongated dielectric housing (112) and a clip member (123, 284) attached that is adapted to fit into a standard RJ-type jack. More specifically, one end (114) of the modular plug (110) defines an electrical connector section to which wires from a telephone cord (120) can be attached. For this purpose, the housing (112) includes an internal channel (143) through which the telephone cord (120) can extend. The clip member (123, 284) is secured in a cantilevered manner at an end (116) of the housing (112) remote from the electric connector section. The housing (112) is also formed with a recess (220) into which extends a free end (276, 313, 380) of the clip member (123, 284). The modular plug (110) has an associated length of 1.1 to 1.5 inches (approximately 2.8 to 3.8 cm). With this construction, the modular telephone plug (110) can be easily grasped and manipulated.

  • Patent number: 5696866
Abstract: During recording of a television signal on a VCR, data are accumulated with respect to the time of occurrence and duration of detectable events, such as blank frames, in the television signal, and such data are stored. Subsequent to the recording process, the stored data are analyzed to classify the content of the television signal between the detectable events as commercial or non-commercial. The video tape is then marked at the beginning and ending of each commercial group. During playback, the VCR is automatically commanded into a fast scan mode when the tape reaches the beginning of a commercial group. The VCR is then automatically commanded to return to the normal "play" mode when the tape reaches the ending time of that commercial group. Since all of the television signal is recorded on the tape, any or all of the signal may be viewed at the discretion of the viewer.

  • Patent number: 5692093
Abstract: During recording of a television signal on a VCR, data are accumulated with respect to the time of occurrence and duration of detectable events, such as blank frames, in the television signal, and such data are stored. Timing reference data are written onto the tape as it is recorded. At a time subsequent to the recording process, the stored data are analyzed to classify the content of the television signal between the detectable events and a playback map is constructed for the recorded signal. During playback, the stored playback map is retrieved and stored timing data are compared to the timing reference data read from the tape. The VCR is automatically commanded into a fast scan mode when the tape reaches the beginning time of a portion of the video signal that has been classified for elimination during playback. The VCR is then automatically commanded to return to the normal "play" mode when the tape reaches the ending time of that portion of the video signal.

  • Patent number: 5455630
Abstract: A time code or other digital code is inserted into a video signal by modulating the video signal itself or the signal's radio frequency (RF) carrier. This allows the code to be recorded concurrently with recording of the video signal, thereby obviating the need for a specially adapted recording apparatus. Furthermore, since the code is embedded in the recorded video signal, the encoded information may be retrieved from the video signal in a unit that is external to the playback apparatus. In combination with a conventional video cassette recorder (VCR), the video signal that is tuned to by the VCR is processed to extract raster synchronization signals. A modulator inserted ahead of the RF input to the VCR modulates the RF carrier in response to the digital code. Feedback of the tuned video signal insures proper synchronization of the broadband RF modulation so that the digital code is inserted into a non-viewable portion of the recorded video signal.
