Abstract: Drum type washing machine is disclosed, including a cabinet having a base plate, a tub fixedly secured to an inside of the cabinet, a drum positioned in the tub for holding washing water, a rotation shaft connected to a rear of the drum, a bearing housing assembly for supporting the rotation shaft, buffering and supporting members connected between the bearing housing assembly and the base plate, and fastening means for fastening the bearing housing assembly to the cabinet releasably.

Abstract: A drum type washing machine is disclosed. The drum type washing machine includes a tub mounted in a case, a drum rotatably mounted in the tub, and a tilt reduction unit for reducing the downward tilt degree of the tub and the drum when laundry to be cleaned is received into the drum. According to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the downward tilt degree of the tub and the drum, and therefore, it is possible to increase the capacities of the tub and the drum without the modification of the case.

Abstract: A clothes refreshing apparatus is disclosed. The clothes refreshing apparatus includes a cabinet forming an external appearance, a drum which is installed in the cabinet and provides a space in which clothes are loaded and refreshed, a front panel which forms a front surface of the cabinet and has a loading port through which the clothes are loaded into the drum, and a door which is installed to open and close the loading port, wherein the door is formed to have a vertical length equal to or larger than a vertical length of side surfaces of the front panel.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a washing machine having high reliability. The washing machine includes a housing, a tub provided in the housing for holding washing water, a drum rotatably mounted in the tub for washing laundry, a door having an outer frame and an inner frame secured to an inside of the outer frame, for opening/closing an opening in the housing such that the housing is in communication with the drum, a hinge arm joining the housing and the door, and rotatably coupled to the housing and the door respectively, and a holder provided between the outer frame and the inner frame for holding a portion of the hinge arm arranged in the door.
