Abstract: A golf club head includes a body having a striking plate and an assembling portion, a first elastic weight member including an elastic matrix and a metal powder mixed in the elastic matrix, and a second elastic weight member including an elastic matrix and a metal powder mixed in the elastic matrix of the second elastic weight member. The second elastic weight member includes a specific density and an elastic coefficient different from those of the first elastic weight member. The first elastic weight member and the second elastic weight member are mounted in the assembling portion of the body to form a golf club head. The first elastic weight member and the second elastic weight member adjust a center of gravity of the golf club head and provide an elastic vibration-absorbing effect.

The angled bending portion of the forging blank reduces the deformation of the forging blank during a forging step that fills cinder holes in the forging blank. A golf club head can be manufactured with fewer forging molds without sacrificing the structure of the golf club head.

The striking plate includes a front side for striking golf balls and a rear side. At least one groove is defined in one of the front side of the body and the rear side of the striking plate. At least one plastic protrusion is formed on the other of the front side of the body and the rear side of the striking plate. When assembling the striking plate and the body, the plastic protrusion deforms under pressure to form an engaging portion that is engaged in the groove, thereby securely engaging the striking plate with the body.
