  • Patent number: 8125787
Abstract: The frame assembly mainly contains a number of linear edge members and a number of L-shaped corner members end-to-end joining the edge members by a number of connection pieces into a rectangular frame surrounding a touch panel. Both the edge and corner members have a C-shaped cross section with a space inside for holding circuit boards of the touch panel. The circuit boards of the corner and edge members are aligned so that their connectivity by matching connectors is easily established when putting the frame assembly together.

  • Patent number: 7995042
Abstract: The dimension detection system is implemented in cascaded circuit boards housed inside a frame assembly of the touch screen. After the frame assembly is assembled and powered, the dimension detection system in the circuit boards would provide horizontal and vertical feedback signals which are utilized to obtain the size of the touch screen. The size information of the touch screen could then be provided to the computer or embedded system where the touch screen is connected, preventing troublesome manual configuration. The dimension detection system and the flexible frame assembly together make the touch screen's production, storage, transportation, and usage more efficient and friendly.

  • Publication number: 20100134441
Abstract: An optic touch control screen module includes a plurality of frame members of various sizes and joint members that are combined to form a frame. Each of the frame members and the joint members forms a receiving chamber. Every two opposite ones of the circuit boards are provided with oppositely arranged and corresponding optic transmitting elements and optic receiving elements. Each circuit board has opposite ends each forming a female connector. A plurality of male connectors is provided and each has a structure having two faces forming male terminals. To assemble, the male connector is set between and engages with the female connectors of two adjacent circuit boards. Thus, damage to the circuit boards can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 7683881
Abstract: An interactive presentation system uses a presentation computer, a computer-controlled image projector and a projection screen, in which control of the presentation computer is accomplished by using a wireless optical pointer that projects an encoded control cursor onto the projection screen. The projected screen images are monitored by a video camera, and the control cursor is scanned, detected and decoded for emulating various keyboard commands and/or pointing device (mouse, touch pad, track ball) position-dependent cursor operations. The control cursor is reliably detected and its coordinate location is accurately determined on the basis of one or more primary image attributes, for example image intensity and image repetition rate, both of which are independent of monitoring angles and pointing device projection angles, and one or more secondary image attributes, for example image size, color and pattern.

  • Patent number: 7245441
Abstract: A document camera is used to show image of an object on a display. In the document camera, a first image data of the object obtained by a video-capturing device is derived into a second image data and a third image data by an image processor in response to a zoom operation, wherein the second image data results in a zoomed image of the object and the third image data results in a scaled image of the object. In response to the zoom operation, there is also a mark frame data generated by a position information controller, which results in a mark frame. The zoomed image, scaled image and mark frame are then synthesized into a combined image by an image synthesizer, and the mark frame superimposes the scaled image to indicate a result of the zoom operation.

  • Publication number: 20060277393
Abstract: A document camera is used to show image picked up from an object and/or image received from an external apparatus such as a computer on an image display. In the document camera, an image sensing and processing device senses image of an object and processing the image into an image signal. A display controller controls the display of the image signal. An image synthesizer combines a first image signal received from an external apparatus with a second image signal received from the image sensing and processing device and has images represented by the first image signal and the second image signal simultaneously displayed under the control of the display controller.

  • Patent number: 6417845
Abstract: A touch controlled device with a pressure sensing electronic input pen comprises a main control unit, a pressure signal processing unit, an electronic input pen, a coordinate and button signal processing unit, a touch control panel, and an output interface, etc. The main control unit serves to process the outputting signals from the pressure signal processing unit and the coordinate and button signal processing unit. The electronic input pen has a pressure sensor and a button, the pressure sensor serves to sense the force applied for being outputted with a pressure frequency signal. The touch control panel is connected to the coordinate and button signal processing unit, the tip of the electronic input pen touches the touch control panel so that the touch control panel outputs a coordinate signal and then transfers this signal to the coordinate and button signal processing unit.
