  • Publication number: 20260162561
Abstract: A method for auditory training is provided. The method includes providing a test sound having a first sound pattern for at least one characteristic of a sound, based on a user input that is input through a user interface for receiving a visual pattern, providing, through the user interface, a first visual object having a first visual pattern corresponding to the user input, wherein a first sound, which is substantially synchronized with a detection time point of the user input and has at least one characteristic identified based on position of the user input defined in the user interface, is provided, and, based on identifying an event for providing a second visual pattern corresponding to the test sound, providing a second visual object having the second visual pattern corresponding to at least one characteristic of the first sound pattern.

  • Publication number: 20250169992
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for treating hearing loss using auditory feedback. The treatment method according to the present invention provides auditory training sounds to hearing-impaired patients along with visual representations of the sound characteristics and receives input from the patients regarding these sound characteristics. Through this approach, it enables integrated training that combines auditory, visual, and motor feedback for hearing-impaired patients. Compared to traditional voice-centered training methods, this provides a more effective and intuitive learning environment, resulting in superior auditory improvement outcomes. Additionally, since the method can identify sound characteristics to which hearing-impaired patients are vulnerable, it allows for customized treatment tailored to each patient. By intensively training these areas, auditory processing can be improved more efficiently.

  • Patent number: 7617110
Abstract: A lossless audio encoding/decoding method, medium, and apparatus. The lossless audio encoding method includes converting an audio signal in a time domain into an audio spectral signal with an integer in a frequency domain, mapping the audio spectral signal in the frequency domain to a bit plane signal according to its frequency, and losslessly encoding binary samples of bit planes using a probability model determined according to a predetermined context. The lossless audio decoding method includes extracting a predetermined lossy bitstream and an error bitstream from error data by demultiplexing an audio bitstream, the error data corresponding to a difference between lossy encoded audio data and an audio spectral signal with an integer in a frequency domain, lossy decoding the extracted encoded lossy bitstream, losslessly decoding the extracted error bitstream, and restoring the original audio frequency spectral signal using the decoded lossy bitstream and error bitstream.
