The RF module comprises an attenuator and an antenna switch connected to the antenna. The antenna switch comprises a bypass path connected to the attenuator and providing a minimum power output when power is set to a minimum value.

Disclosed is a method for controlling a communication device comprising a first antenna, a second antenna, a radio frequency front end (RFFE), and a switch configured to connect an output of the RFFE and at least one of the first antenna or the second antenna, the method including identifying a switching mode regarding to transmit diversity, and, when the switching mode is a first mode, controlling the switch to connect the output of the RFFE to the first antenna and the second antenna.
