A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and the separator between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, the first electrode plate, the second electrode plate and the separator being stacked, and at least one electrode tab being withdrawn to a side of the electrode assembly; and a case receiving the electrode assembly.
