  • Patent number: 10986066
Abstract: A system and method for efficient call processing is provided. The system of a server implemented with a computer includes a memory configured to store a computer-readable instruction and at least one processor configured to execute the computer-readable instruction. The at least one processor includes a push request controller configured to control the server to request a push server to provide push notification to a terminating electronic device corresponding to an outgoing request of an originating electronic device and a call management controller configured to control the server to establish a call session between the originating electronic device and the terminating electronic device based on an invite request sent from the terminating electronic device based on the push notification.

  • Patent number: 10931512
Abstract: Provided is non-transitory computer-readable recording media storing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform a continuity management method that includes sending a heartbeat signal to a service server that provides a service over a network, sending a packet to an echo server in response to failing to receive a response signal to the heartbeat signal from the service server, and determining whether to continue the service based on whether a response to the packet is received from the echo server.

  • Patent number: 10911717
Abstract: Provided is a method and system for providing a video stream for a video conference. A video stream providing method may include managing class information in which a resolution range for the video conference is classified into a plurality of classes; determining at least two classes in which a resolution providable from a source providing client that participates in the video conference is included among the plurality of classes, based on the class information; encoding a video stream for the video conference as a plurality of layers using a resolution set for each of the determined at least two classes; and controlling an electronic device of the source providing client to transmit the video stream encoded as the plurality of layers to a server for the video conference over a network.

  • Patent number: 10129504
Abstract: Provided is a quality-of-video call measuring method and system. The quality-of-video call measuring method may include capturing a display screen of a second electronic device that performs video call with a first electronic device over network. The captured display screen may include a frame image associated with first electronic device and a frame image associated with second electronic device. The frame image associated with first electronic device may include a first time value. The frame image associated with second electronic device may include a second time value. The quality-of-video call measuring method may include analyzing the captured display screen, and extracting the first time value included in the frame image associated with first electronic device and the second time value included in the frame image associated with second electronic device; and calculating at least one parameter indicating a quality of video call using the extracted first and second time values.
