  • Patent number: 9873149
Abstract: A technique is provided capable of favorably preventing generation of a shrinkage cavity in solidification of molten metal poured into a casting mold, and increasing accuracy of an assembling position of a core to a mold, in casting a caliper. A caliper casting device for casting a caliper for a disc brake including a cylinder into which a piston is fitted, and a rotor housing surface that defines a space for housing a disc rotor, includes: a mold; and a core placed in the mold, the mold having a rotor housing surface forming portion that forms a part of the rotor housing surface after casting, and the core being positioned and held in the rotor housing surface forming portion during casting, and forming a part of the rotor housing surface together with the rotor housing surface forming portion after casting.

  • Publication number: 20160296964
Abstract: To provide an art that can perform masking more easily than the prior art, irrespective of a shape of a workpiece. A powder coating system that attaches powder to a workpiece includes a support tool that supports the workpiece, a robot arm which includes the support tool fixed thereto and is movable three-dimensionally, and a removing device that restrains adhesion of powder to a region not needing powder of the workpiece fixed to the robot arm, or removes powder adhering to a powder adhering region, by at least either one of ejection or suction.

  • Publication number: 20160082464
Abstract: To provide an art that can perform masking more easily than in the prior art. A support tool that is used in a powder coating system that electrostatically attaches powder to a workpiece, and supports the workpiece, wherein in the support tool, a region that is in contact with a part of a region not needing powder in the workpiece is formed of an insulator, and restrains adhesion of the powder to the part of the region not needing powder in the workpiece.
