  • Publication number: 20050195360
Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus for examining an eye of a patient, comprises: a light projecting optical system for projecting examination light onto the eye, the optical system including: a light source; and a projection shape forming device which is electrically controlled to change a reflecting area of a reflecting surface or a transmitting area of a transmitting surface and is arranged to reflect or transmit the examination light emitted from the light source while forming a projection shape of the examination light into a desired shape so that the examination light of the desired shape is projected onto the eye; and a selection unit for selecting the projection shape of the examination light; and a control part which drivingly controls the forming device based on the selected projection shape.

  • Publication number: 20050157259
Abstract: An apparatus for observing a fundus of an eye of an examinee has an observation optical system having an image-pickup element which obtains a time-series fundus image, a display part which displays the obtained fundus image on its monitor as a moving image, a determination part which determines a standard fundus image based on the displayed image, a memory part which stores the determined image, a calculation part which digitizes the image based on a threshold luminance level to obtain a digitized image thereof, digitizes a present fundus image obtained after the determination of the standard image based on the threshold luminance level to obtain a digitized image thereof and compares the obtained digitized images two-dimensionally to obtain their positional difference, and a display control part for correcting a display position of the present fundus image based on the obtained positional difference to display the corrected image on the monitor.

  • Publication number: 20040057058
Abstract: Two photodetectors are formed which output electric signals based on the detection of light at light receiving sections disposed apart in space. The output signal of one of the photodetectors is delayed and a first pulse signal is generated. A second pulse signal having no delay is generated according to the detection signal of the other of the photodetectors. A signal is output when the pulse signals are input overlappingly. According to whether the signal is output, the movement direction and speed of a moving body which moves between the light receiving sections are detected.

  • Publication number: 20030065276
Abstract: An audiometer includes: sound output means for externally outputting a test sound for testing hearing; sound input means for fetching the output test sound; storage means for storing a reference signal value for a predetermined sound pressure level of a predetermined frequency; detection means for detecting a sound pressure level signal value of the fetched test sound; instruction means for instructing a calibration start; and calibration means for, when the calibration start is instructed, permitting the sound output means to output the test sound based on the stored reference signal value, and for calibrating the output of the test sound so as to establish a predetermined relationship between the detected sound pressure level signal value and the reference signal value.
