Patent number: 10958133Abstract: In an electric motor, a magnetic bearing generates an electromagnetic force between multiple permanent magnets and a coil and rotatably supports an other side of a rotation shaft in an axis line direction. The rotation shaft is configured to be capable of being inclined with a rotation center line using a bearing side of the rotation shaft as a fulcrum. An electronic control device controls a current that flows to the coil such that an axis line of the rotation shaft approaches the rotation center line due to a supporting force which is the electromagnetic force between the multiple permanent magnets and the coil. Accordingly, the rotation shaft is rotatably supported to be freely rotatable by a magnetic bearing and the bearing.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2015Date of Patent: March 23, 2021Assignees: DENSO CORPORATION, SOKEN, INC., National University Corporation Shizuoka UniversityInventors: Koji Ito, Masanori Yasuda, Shinji Makita, Jun Yamaoka, Masao Tokunaga, Etsuro Yoshino, Junichi Asama

Patent number: 9450469Abstract: An inchworm actuator which can move a movable body relative to a stationary body while selectively giving priority to displacement speed or displacement resolution in accordance with the conditions of use is provided. An inchworm actuator 100 includes a movable body 110 supported between first and second guides 101 and 102 which are made of a magnetic material and which extend parallel to each other. In the movable body 110, a voice coil motor 115 is supported by first and second support legs 111 and 112 through toggle mechanisms 116a and 116b. The first and second support legs 111 and 112 are made of a magnetic material and have magnetic field-forming coils 113 and 114. The toggle mechanisms 116a and 116b convert the amount of displacement input from the voice coil motor 115 using a reducing conversion ratio corresponding to the amount of the displacement and transmit a resultant displacement to the first and second support legs 111 and 112.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2011Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Assignee: National University Corporation Shizuoka UniversityInventors: Takaaki Oiwa, Junichi Asama
