  • Publication number: 20040260190
Abstract: An electrocardiograph and an electrocardiograph control method capable of recording the electrocardiographic waveform under satisfactory measurement conditions with a simple operation are disclosed. In the case where a measurement switch is depressed (MEASUREMENT SW in S10) in sleep mode, a CPU (10) starts the main power supply and sets the electrocardiograph in active mode and performs the initial operation for starting to control the various parts (S20). Further, the electrocardiograph selects a measurement program for executing the measurement function thereof, and the process before step S60 is skipped to branch to the measurement process.

  • Patent number: 6093104
Abstract: A video game is played on a video game system by moving objects successively introduced into a game field in one direction on a display screen, determining whether a leading object or a leading cluster of objects introduced into the game field reach a predetermined position in the display screen or a memory, and ending the video game if the leading object or the leading cluster of objects introduced into the game field reaches the predetermined position. It is determined whether objects of one type are successively connected in the game field or not. The objects of one type are removed from the game field if they are successively connected in the game field. An object present ahead of the removed objects in the direction is moved in a direction opposite to the direction. An object indicated by a cursor is exchanged for an object present in the game field.

  • Patent number: 5824559
Abstract: A method and a device for the analysis of 5-hydroxyindoles or catecholamines with high sensitivity. New chemiluminescence labeling agents, 6-aminomethylphthalhydrazide or 1,2-bis(phthalhydrazino)ethylenediamine, are reacted with 5-hydroxyindoles or catecholamines to form their stable derivatives. The derivatives emit strong luminescence in the presence of an oxidizing agent. In the chemiluminescence detection method, there is extremely low background noise and thus the method enables analysis with high sensitivity.

  • Patent number: 5274769
Abstract: A system for multiplexed transfer of data between plural blocks interconnected by a two-way data bus of a predetermined number of bus lines provides for simultaneous and parallel transfer over the plural bus lines of plural data bits, up to the same, maximum predetermined number of the bus lines. Each parallel data bit transfer is selectively controllable with respect both to the number and the direction of transfer of the individual data bits over the respectively corresponding bus lines of the two-way data bus. Each block comprises a plurality of internal circuit cards, an internal bus of plural bus lines, of the same predetermined number, respectively connected to plural internal circuit cards of the block, and plural two-way transfer gates respectively associated with and selectively operable for interconnecting the corresponding bus lines of the internal bus and the two-way data bus.

  • Patent number: 4771393
Abstract: The thermometer includes an oscillation unit having a time constant circuit with a compound resistor including a reference resistor and a temperature sensitive resistor. The compound resistor is switched between the reference and temperature sensitive resistors. A comparator compares the oscillation frequencies of the oscillation unit by switching over the compound resistor between the reference and temperature sensitive resistors at a variable sampling interval, and outputs digital data corresponding to the temperature sensed by the temperature sensitive resistor. The digital data corresponding to the sensed temperature are converted and displayed on a temperature data display unit. The resistive value of the reference resistor and the sampling time are switchable according to the range of temperature measurement. The temperature data conversion unit has several sections which are switchably selected according to particular ranges of temperature measurement.
