  • Publication number: 20040047143
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a drive circuit for an organic light emitting diode which can suppress a fall in an intensity of light emission to extend the life of the organic light emitting diode. The present invention is a drive circuit for an organic light emitting diode which has plural anodes A1 to A3 and plural cathodes B1 to B4 intersecting while being opposed to each other and an organic layer having at least a light-emitting layer intervening between both the poles, sets one of both the poles as drive lines and the other of both the poles as scanning lines, and by scanning all of these scanning lines as one field at a predetermined frequency, presents light emission with the intersection portions as pixels E11 to E34. Capacitors C11 to C34 having a predetermined added capacity, to which a bias voltage Vr in a direction of canceling charges to be charged to a parasitic capacity of the pixels E11 to E34 is applied, are provided.

  • Patent number: 5874696
Abstract: A portable information processing unit, such as a personal computer, has a keyboard in which the normal, operating height of key switches is reduced to a more compact, reduced height automatically when a cover of the unit is closed and is automatically reinstated to the normal operating height when the cover is opened. Each key switch has a key top, a base, an actuating mechanism connecting the key top to the base, an elastic member and a switching layer, the elastic member extending through an opening in the base and interconnecting the key top and the switch. Depression of the key top produces movement thereof in a depressing direction and a depression force transferred through the elastic member to the switch, switching same from an off to an on state; upon release of the key top, the elastic member returns the key top to the normal position.

  • Patent number: 5715894
Abstract: An impact screw-tightening apparatus is comprised of a main body and a controller. The main body includes a motor outputting pulsed drive output, a main shaft driven by the drive and connected to a screw to be tightened, and a torque detector detecting a change of torque applied to the main shaft. The controller includes a calculating section and a control section. The calculating section obtains frequency of impacts generated from a time that a bearing surface of the screw is in contact with a tightened object, on the basis of the signal from the torque detector. The control section cuts off a motive power source of the drive at a time that the frequency of the impacts becomes a predetermined value. Therefore, even if impact operation is executed prior to the contact of the bearing surface, the tightening force is accurately calculated by a rapid and brief calculation and control logic, and the dispersion of the tightening force at the cut-off time is decreased.

  • Patent number: 5181575
Abstract: An impact wrench with a torque controlling faculty including an air motor for generating a primary torque, an oil pressure pulse generating unit for converting the primary torque into a pulsatory secondary torque, a main spindle to which the pulsatory secondary torque is applied, a transducer for detecting the pulsatory secondary torque and a shut-off valve which is closed to stop a supply of a compressed air to the air motor when the secondary torque exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The main spindle is made of material having the magnetic strictive effect and the distortion of the main spindle is detected by a pair of coils arranged in opposition to the main spindle. The coils are connected into a bridge circuit together with resistors and an exciting current having a sinusoidal waveform is supplied to a first set of diagonal points of the bridge circuit.
