  • Publication number: 20200242806
Abstract: A stereo camera calibration method includes: obtaining a stereo image generated by imaging a chart using a stereo camera, the chart at least including two markers arranged at a known interval; measuring the known interval, using the stereo image and a calibration parameter for the stereo camera; and correcting a parameter pertaining to an optical axis position so as to reduce a difference between the known interval and a result of the measurement. The correcting includes performing a process corresponding to moving the optical axis position in perpendicular and lateral directions on an imaging surface of the stereo camera. The correcting includes calculating a perpendicular correction amount of the optical axis position, and then calculating a lateral correction amount of the optical axis position.

  • Patent number: 10573015
Abstract: In a measuring device, a second objective optical system is arranged to have a parallax with respect to a first objective optical system. An imaging unit captures a first subject image formed through the first objective optical system at a first imaging timing and captures a second subject image formed through the second objective optical system at a second imaging timing different from the first imaging timing. A virtual image generating unit generates a virtual image based on the first subject image acquired in a case in which the imaging unit is assumed to capture the first subject image at the second imaging timing. A measurement processing unit measures a shape of a subject on the basis of a second image based on the second subject image and the virtual image.

  • Publication number: 20190286391
Abstract: An information processing terminal accepts a print job inputted into the image forming apparatus via the user operation and obtains capability information of the image forming apparatus. The information processing terminal obtains the total number of print sheets for when the accepted print job will be processed and the maximum number of print sheets that the image forming apparatus can process without requiring user action, which is included in the obtained capability information. Furthermore, the information processing terminal, in the case where the total number of print sheets exceeds the maximum number of print sheets, outputs a warning message including that user action will be necessary.

  • Patent number: 9211694
Abstract: When a job that is set so as to execute binding processing at a first binding position is being executed and this job is then interrupted, a request for changing a position of the binding processing from the first binding position to a second binding position is accepted in a state where the job is interrupted. It is determined whether or not an orientation of a print target image is to be changed in order to change the position of the binding processing from the first binding position to the second binding position in accordance with the accepted request. In a case where it is determined that the orientation of the print target image is to be changed, control is performed so as not to execute the binding processing.
