  • Patent number: 10286447
Abstract: A heat transfer coefficient ? between a solidified shell (2) and a mold (4) sandwiching a mold flux layer (3), and a heat transfer coefficient ? between a molten steel (1) and the solidified shell (2) are found by solving an inverse problem by using data from thermocouples (6), and a solidified shell thickness and a solidified shell temperature are estimated (solidified state in mold estimation amounts), and further, solidified state in mold evaluation amounts are obtained. It is determined whether a normal casting state or an abnormal casting state by comparing at least one or more kinds of amounts contained in the solidified state in mold estimation amounts and the solidified state in mold evaluation amounts with allowable limit values which are found based on at least one or more kinds of amounts contained in the solidified state in mold estimation amounts and the solidified state in mold evaluation amounts when the abnormal casting occurred in a past and stored in a data storage part.

  • Publication number: 20180253033
Abstract: A developing device includes a developing container, first and second stirring-conveyance members, a developer carrier, a toner concentration sensor, a scraper, and a scraper attachment unit. The second stirring-conveyance member includes a rotation shaft, a first spiral blade to convey developer in an axial direction, and a second spiral blade to overlap a region where the first spiral blade is formed, which is opposite to the first spiral blade in phase, and lower than the first spiral blade in height in a radial direction. An absent region, where the second spiral blade does not exist, is formed in one pitch of the first spiral blade, the one pitch facing the toner concentration sensor. The scraper attachment unit is formed to extend, along a straight line passing through intersection points of the first and second spiral blades and parallel to the rotation shaft, into the absent region.

  • Patent number: 10033906
Abstract: An image processing apparatus converts multi-valued data into multi-valued quantized data having fewer levels than the multi-valued data. The apparatus includes an acquisition unit that acquires threshold values, a provisional quantization unit that sets a provisional quantized value with respect to the multi-valued data, and a quantization unit that decides a quantized value with respect to the multi-valued data based on a result of comparing comparative multi-valued data for the multi-valued data to the threshold value. The quantization unit decides the quantized value so that in a case where the multi-valued data is the same intermediate value, pixels having the value larger than provisional quantized value increase, pixels having the provisional quantized value do not change in number, and pixels having the value smaller than the provisional quantized value decrease in a designated pixel area as the value of the multi-valued data rises.

  • Patent number: 9716809
Abstract: In low-resolution processing (reduction processing) in which input image data is separated into character print data and image print data to generate print data of lower resolution than that of the input image data, if a plurality of pixels is simply reduction-processed to one pixel, color of a color image surrounding a character may change. In an image processing method, calculation for performing reduction processing so that the plurality of pixels in the input image data corresponds to one pixel in the print data is performed as follows. A ratio of using a pixel value of a character attribute pixel in the calculation is set to 0, or set smaller than a ratio of using a pixel value of an image attribute pixel. As a result, a change in the color of the color image surrounding the character can be prevented.
