    Abstract: The present invention aims at providing an electrode for an electrochemical element having adequately high capacity and output. The electrode for an electrochemical element of the present invention has a feature in that a mixture containing an active material, a conduction aid and a binder is filled into continuous pores of an aluminum porous body having the continuous pores, and the content ratio of the conduction aid in the mixture is 0 to 4 mass %.     Abstract: The present invention provides a three-dimensional network aluminum porous body in which the cell diameter of the three-dimensional network aluminum porous body is uneven in the thickness direction, and a current collector and an electrode respectively using the aluminum porous body, and a production method thereof. That is, such a sheet-shaped three-dimensional network aluminum porous body for a current collector has a cell diameter uneven in the thickness direction. Particularly, it is preferred that when a cross section in the thickness direction of the three-dimensional network aluminum porous body is divided into three regions of a region 1, a region 2 and a region 3 in this order, the average of the cell diameter in the region 1 and the cell diameter in the region 3 differs from the cell diameter in the region 2.
