  • Publication number: 20060232619
Abstract: A printer, image registration method, and printer system improve image data processing efficiency by tracking and storing the identical image data that is registered and stored in a printer. The image registration device has a graphics register for registering images in a printer. The graphics register sends the image data to be registered to the printer, receives an identification number from the printer, and records and stores a registered image data information file linking the image data sent to the printer with the printer identification number.

  • Patent number: 7055155
Abstract: Character strings containing null can be reliably passed between objects without using a complicated process and without changing the character string type declared by the control object or service object. An interface object for passing character strings from a control object to a service object casts the character string received from the control object as a BSTR type even if the received string is LPCTSTR type, determines the number of characters in the string, converts the string to wide characters without dropping any characters in the string, and creates a COM-standard BSTR type wide character string. Null (0x00) and all following characters in the character string can therefore be reliably passed to the service object.

  • Publication number: 20060055950
Abstract: Storing image data that is printed at the end of a receipt in a printer is made easier by a printing control apparatus that acquires a distance equal to the length of the transportation path of roll paper between the printing position and paper cutting position of a connected printer, and generates image data by adding non-printing data composed of non-printing dots corresponding to this length to the end of the main print data. This image data is then sent to and stored in the printer.

  • Publication number: 20060055963
Abstract: A communication setup program eliminates the need for setting communication data common to multiple applications individually for each application. The communication setup program configures communication data that is reflected by the applications when each application is loaded, and provides a device selection module for selecting a target communication device from among one or more devices setup on the computer; a related application extraction module for extracting related applications that support the selected device from among a plurality of applications installed on the computer; a communication data setup module for configuring the communication data used by related applications to communicate with the selected device; and a communication data ID output module for providing a communication data ID for referencing the configured communication data to the extracted applications.

  • Publication number: 20020095495
Abstract: A device status monitoring system and method for a POS (point of sale) terminal system, in which an OPOS (OLE for Retail POS) object continuously records changes in device status to a file. A control system (OPOS object) includes a first object (control object) providing an interface for a device class to an application program, and a second object (service object) providing an interface for a specific device to the first object.

  • Patent number: 5046542
Abstract: A radial tire for use in construction vehicles comprises a tread of a two layer structure composed of tread cap rubber and tread base rubber. In this case, the tread base rubber is divided into crown center portion and shoulder portion, and these rubbers satisfy particular relations of loss factor at 50.degree. C., storage modulus at 50.degree. C. and 300% modulus at room temperature.
