  • Patent number: 7613839
Abstract: A method is disclosed for setting a master node of a ring network that has adjacently connected nodes situated on rightward and leftward lines of a bidirectional transmission channel. The method includes the steps of: counting the number of nodes interposed between a designated node and each node other than the designated node on the rightward and leftward lines of the bidirectional transmission channel; and setting one of the nodes as the master node. The master node satisfies a relation of, NHC_L=NHC_R or NHC_L=NHC_R-1, wherein NHC_L is the number of interposed nodes counted from the leftward line, and NHC_R is the number of interposed nodes counted from the rightward line.

  • Patent number: 7362011
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing a contact from being corroded includes a power source, a signal line connected to the contact, a resistance connected to the signal line, a switching section, a comparator, and an overheat detecting section. The switching section has a switch between the power source and the signal line. An impedance of the switch is smaller than that of the resistance when the switch is turned on. The comparator compares a potential of the signal line with a predetermined potential to determine as to whether or not the contact is corroded. The comparator outputs a driving signal when the comparator concludes that the contact is corroded. The overheat detecting section detects whether or not temperature of the apparatus exceeds a predetermined temperature. The overheat detecting section decreases current flowing through the switching section when the temperature of the apparatus exceeds the predetermined temperature.

  • Publication number: 20070109106
Abstract: There is provided a driving information recording apparatus having high versatility in which even in the event there is a request for an additional trigger, the requested trigger can be added in a simple fashion. When an ON/OFF port admits the input of a signal from an airbag ECU, a primary CPU conducts a control such that recording in a CF card is implemented using the signal inputted as a trigger. In particular, since the ON/OFF port is made to admit the input of a signal from another vehicle state detecting unit which is different from a detecting unit for detecting that a vehicle is put in a predetermined state, a drive recorder does not have to be re-fabricated from the beginning.
