Patent number: 10479182Abstract: A shift control system includes a controller that controls a transmission and a hydraulic controller. During an inertia phase where an input speed of the transmission changes toward a synchronous speed in a gear stage after a shift, the controller sets an oil pressure of a specific frictional engagement of a plurality of frictional engagement devices to an oil pressure that, at a time of the shift, exceeds a first oil pressure to set a transmission torque capacity equal to a first drive torque applied to the specific frictional engagement device of a drive torque outputted from a prime mover, but is less than a second oil pressure to set a transmission torque capacity equal to a second drive torque which is the first drive torque to which has been added an inertia torque generated by inertia on a prime mover side accompanying a change in speed ratio.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2018Date of Patent: November 19, 2019Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Junichi Shiozaki

Patent number: 9933026Abstract: A vehicle control system for improving vibration suppressing performance and acceleration response is provided. A controller is configured to set the torque transmitting capacity of an engagement device to a first torque transmitting capacity that is smaller than a value required to transmit a peak value of a second drive torque applied to an output shaft of a transmission having the engagement device but greater than a value required to transmit an estimated first drive torque generated by an engine, when the second drive torque is amplified by pulsation of the first drive torque.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2017Date of Patent: April 3, 2018Assignee: TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Junichi Shiozaki, Norimi Asahara, Mitsuhiro Toyoda

Patent number: 5148093Abstract: A control system for an AC excited synchronous machine for use in an electricity generator/motor system. The AC excited synchronous machine can be driven not only in a variable-speed operation based on 2-axis current control but also in a constant exciting frequency operation based on only direct-axis current component control. A phase signal is switched to drive stably the AC excited synchronoius machine in a self-excited operation or in a rotary phase modifying operation. Further, when it is desired to start pumping-up water, a synchronizing power is provided to keep constant the rotational speed of the machine at the time of establishing a desired water pressure. Because of the switching arrangement of the phase signal, the AC excited synchronous machine can be operated as an ordinary synchronous machine exhibiting ordinary synchronous characteristics, that is, self-excited operation characteristics, rotary phase modifying operation characteristics and pumping-up start characteristics.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 1990Date of Patent: September 15, 1992Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Akira Bando, Shigehiro Kayukawa, Toshio Taguchi, Yasuteru Ohno, Junichi Shiozaki, deceased, Junko Shiozaki

Patent number: 4980629Abstract: An AC-excited generator/motor apparatus comprising; an AC-excited generator/motor having an armature mounting thereon; an armature winding connected to an AC power system and a rotor mounting thereon; and an exciting winding excited by an AC current. An exciting device for supplying a controlled AC exciting current to the exciting winding comprises; a device for calculating a real slip frequency based on a difference between the phase of an armature voltage appearing on the armature winding and the rotational phase of the rotor; and a device for controlling the exciting current supplied to the exciting winding from the exciting means in response to a deviation of the real slip frequency from a predetermined allowable range of slip frequencies so as to restore the real slip frequency within the allowable range of slip frequencies.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 1989Date of Patent: December 25, 1990Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc.Inventors: Akira Bando, Osamu Nagura, Shigehiro Kayukawa, Junichi Shiozaki, Akira Momiyama, Hiroto Nakagawa, Yasuteru Oono
