    Abstract: A shielded cable connection structure includes a plurality of shielded cables. Each of the shielded cables has a center conductor, a shielding conductor, and an insulative jacket. A metal grounding member has at least two rows of mutually parallel substantially comb shaped teeth. The comb shaped teeth in each of the rows have a wire receiving portion formed there between that receives at least one of the shielded cables. A holding member mates with the metal grounding member to clamp the shielded cables between the metal grounding member and the holding member. The center conductor is directly clamped by the comb shaped teeth in one of the rows, and the shielding conductor is clamped through the insulative jacket by the comb shaped teeth in the other row.

    Abstract: A shielded cable connection structure includes a plurality of shielded cables. Each of the shielded cables has a center conductor, a shielding conductor, and an insulative jacket. The comb shaped teeth in each of the rows have a wire receiving portion formed there between that receives at least one of the shielded cables. A holding member mates with the metal grounding member to clamp the shielded cables between the metal grounding member and the holding member.     Abstract: Cards are enabled to be removed from a card edge connector having an ejecting mechanism, even in cases that fingers, jigs, and the like are unable to access an ejector thereof. The card edge connector is constituted by: an insulative housing having a slot; electrical contacts, provided in the slot, for electrically contacting conductive pads of a card, which is inserted into the slot; and the ejector, mounted only at one end of the insulative housing in its longitudinal direction, for ejecting the card. The card edge connector is constructed such that when a second edge of the card, opposite from a first edge at which an engaging protrusion is provided, is pulled in a direction substantially opposite the insertion direction of the card, the card rotates about the first edge, while the engaging protrusion urges a stopper to rotate the ejector, thereby disengaging the stopper from the engaging protrusion.

    Abstract: An electrical connector (1,1') having multiple contacts (40') are arranged in the insulating housing (10) at a predetermined pitch and have a J-shaped connecting section (44). When an external force (F), which tends to pull a flat cable (4) in a direction away from connector (1) is applied to the flat cable (4), connecting sections (44) of all contacts (40) are bent and their back surfaces (56) are pressed against the inner wall (30) of the insulating housing (10). This pressure generates resistance from the inner wall (30) resulting in a strong frictional force between connecting sections (44) and flat cable (4), thus reliably securing cable (4) in the connector housing.
