  • Patent number: 5997254
Abstract: An attaching plate is fixed to a cooling air duct in a refrigerator. A fan motor for supplying cooling air, is downwardly directed and is attached to the attaching plate. A fan cover is attached to the cooling air duct and below the fan motor. A bottom plate portion having a recess is disposed in the fan cover so as to be opposed to the tip end of the fan rotation shaft which is downwardly projected from a fan.

  • Patent number: 5941092
Abstract: In a refrigeration unit 4 disposed in a machine room 3 of a refrigerator or the like, an expansion valve cover 11 and a pressure switch mounting plate 12 are disposed in the side of a refrigerant compressor 8 placed behind a fan motor 6, and at positions which are in a lateral side of the refrigerant compressor 8 and separated therefrom by a gap, and which are deviated from the direction along which cooling air from the fan motor 6 is ejected. The cover and the plate are disposed so as to elongate in substantially parallel with a side face of the refrigerant compressor 8. A cooling air passage 20 is formed in each of both the sides of the refrigerant compressor 8.

  • Patent number: 5046328
Abstract: A refrigeration apparatus comprises a machine chamber for containing a compressor, a condenser and others, and a display chamber for accommodating articles to be displayed. The display chamber is constituted by an inner box and an outer box between which a cooling air passage is defined. Defined internally of the machine chamber is a cooler chamber enclosed substantially by a heat insulating material in such a manner as to communicate with the cooling air passage. Disposed within the cooler chamber is a cooling air circulating device and a cooler for causing the cooling air to circulate through the cooling air passage and back to the cooler chamber.
