The vehicle substructure includes, for example, a partition as a load transmitting member that is inserted between the side member inner and the rear side member and comes into contact with the wall surface of the side member outer facing a vehicle compartment. It is preferable that the partition have a laminated structure including members and the like. Further, it is more preferable that the vehicle substructure include reinforcing members.
