    Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a detection unit an inspection information acquirement unit, and an information provision unit. The detection unit detects a user approaching a vehicle based on receiving a predetermined signal from the vehicle or an unlocking operation on the vehicle. The inspection information acquirement unit acquires inspection information including an inspection item of the vehicle and relating to an inspection of the vehicle. The information provision unit performs, based on detection of the user approaching the vehicle by the detection unit, a process to provide the inspection information of an approaching vehicle to the user. The approaching vehicle is the vehicle that the user has approached.
