  • Publication number: 20170024940
Abstract: The drive diagnosing device 1 includes a portable device main body 2, which is electrically powered by a battery 8 built in the device 1 and which includes a control unit for acquiring a driving behavior from the operation of an automotive vehicle, which has been detected by an operation detecting (acceleration) sensor 5 and then determining the driving behavior to thereby diagnose such driving, the device main body 2 being disposed at an arbitrarily chosen site within the automotive vehicle. The operation detecting sensor 5 is kept in a constant drive condition, and a driving behavior capture initiating unit 12 is provided for causing the control unit 6 to initiate the capture of the driving behavior from the operation detecting sensor 5 and for subsequently determining the driving behavior.

  • Publication number: 20120245758
Abstract: The present invention includes a driving behavior detecting unit (3) mounted on an automotive vehicle (A) and having at least an accelerator sensor (2) and is operable to detect the driving behavior on the basis of the acceleration of the automotive vehicle A detected by the acceleration sensor (2), in which a setting cant state detecting unit (11) automatically detects, on the basis of the frequency of occurrence of the acceleration at a plurality of angles of inclination on a plane containing a predetermined axis of the automotive vehicle (A) and a predetermined axis of the driving behavior detecting unit (3) installed so as to incline relative to this predetermined axis, at least the angle of inclination of an anteroposterior axis of the driving behavior detecting unit (3) installed relative to the anteroposterior axis of the automotive vehicle (A) is automatically detected.

  • Publication number: 20120066011
Abstract: The present invention measures the frequency of occurrence of behaviors of a particular behavior for each time within a predetermined driving unit for each type of driving behaviors and causes the measured frequency of occurrence on a display unit as a driving evaluation index aimed at attaining a zero number each time the particular behavior takes place. Also, for each type of the driving behaviors, based on the frequency of occurrence of the particular behavior, which is a proportion of the number of occurrence of the particular behavior for each type relative to a predetermined driving time, which is the predetermined driving unit, the mean time between incidents of the particular behavior is calculated and the calculated mean time between the incidents is used as the driving evaluation index.

  • Patent number: 6970085
Abstract: Door sensor(s) may be attached to a door body or bodies of automatic swing doors. The door sensor(s) may be equipped with door position detectors including geomagnetic sensor(s), the sensor(s) being itself or themselves capable of detecting position(s) occupied by the door body or bodies during opening and/or closing thereof. During opening and/or closing of the door body or bodies, determination may be made as to whether detected object(s) are object(s) intended for detection; and in the event that object(s) are object(s) intended for detection, opening and/or closing of the door body or bodies may be stopped, slowed, and/or reversed in correspondence to detected position(s) occupied by the door body or bodies during opening and/or closing thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040140782
Abstract: Door sensor(s) 6, 7 may be attached to door body or bodies 3 of automatic swing doors. Door sensor(s) 6, 7 may be equipped with door position detecting means 67, 77 comprising geomagnetic sensor(s); sensor(s) 6, 7 being itself or themselves capable of detecting position(s) occupied by door body or bodies 3 during opening and/or closing thereof. During opening and/or closing of door body or bodies 3, determination may be made as to whether detected object(s) are object(s) intended for detection; and in the event that object(s) are object(s) intended for detection, opening and/or closing of door body or bodies 3 may be stopped, slowed, and/or reversed in correspondence to detected position(s) occupied by door body or bodies 3 during opening and/or closing thereof.
