  • Patent number: 9486889
Abstract: When detecting a tolerance of a shape of a measured object having a complicated shape that makes it difficult to perform a continued measurement, a plurality of partial measurement data that are set are retrieved. Next, a reference position is set from first partial measurement data. Then, each of the partial measurement data is combined into one data using the reference position. Further, the tolerance is calculated using the combined data.

  • Patent number: 9151588
Abstract: A circular shape characteristic measuring device includes a shape measuring device that obtains measured data by measuring a profile shape of a circular cross-section of an object to be measured having the circular cross-section, and a computation device that calculates a circular shape characteristic of the circular cross-section. The computation device includes: an input device configured to input one of three parameters including a cutoff value of the filtering process, a minimum number of samples, and a ratio of a radius of the circular cross-section to a radius of a gauge head; a parameter table that stores a relationship between the three parameters, and based on the input parameter, determines the other two parameters; and a sampler configured to perform sampling of the measured data based on the minimum number of samples.

  • Patent number: 7069175
Abstract: A measurement support apparatus comprises a shape definition data input section, a contour shape generator, a measurement part program input section, an analyzer, a synthesizer, and a display unit. The shape definition data input section is used for entering shape definition data for an object to be measured. The contour shape generates a contour shape based on the shape definition data. The measurement part program input section is used for entering a measurement part program. The analyzer analyzes the measurement part program and outputs the analysis results. The synthesizer synthesizes the analysis results with the contour shape. The display unit displays the synthesis image.

  • Patent number: 6895359
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a method, a program and a device that can set accurately and easily the origin of the coordinate system of a workpiece based on the result obtained by a surface texture measuring machine scanning over a feature area on the surface of the workpiece. The device comprises a data inputter for inputting data obtained by scanning a feature area including at least a feature point area and a non-feature point area of the surface of a workpiece, a feature point selector for extracting the feature points of the data by statistically processing the data inputted into the data inputter and an origin setter for setting the origin of a workpiece coordinate system relative to an origin setting target point of the workpiece based on the coordinate values of the feature point obtained by the feature point selector.
