Abstract: The embodiments of the disclosure disclose a method for system updating of electronic device, the electronic device being in a screen locked state, wherein the method includes: receiving a system update message from a server end; reading the update type in the system update message; and, when the update type is an urgent or forced update, pushing system update information in a current lock screen application. With the embodiments of the disclosure, a user can be notified of system update information in time; even if the mobile phone is in a screen locked state, the user can still learn the system update information without unlocking the mobile phone, which greatly improves the system upgrade rate of mobile phones; moreover, a user can install an upgrade package updated by the system in time, ensuring that the mobile phone can play the best performance and make up system vulnerabilities in time.

Abstract: The application provides a user manual callout method for a smart phone, including the following steps of: setting an application needing to be described; accumulating the usage time or usage count of each application needing to be described according to the set information; and, when the accumulated usage time or accumulated usage count of one application is lower than a set value, pushing description information of the application. The application displays a phone system manual on the left bottom of a lock screen by taking the usage time or usage count as a trigger condition, so as to make a targeted guide description for an application not familiar to or not used in a long period by a user, thereby effectively improving the degree of familiarity of the user with the functions and facilitating the user to use each function of the smart phone better.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and electronic device for application program recommendation. The method includes: averagely dividing the time of a day into multiple periods of time, and counting the frequencies of using different application programs by a user in each period of time; successively ranking the use frequencies of the different application programs in each period of time from high to low, and recording the ranking sequence; and when no other recommended contents exist on the mobile phone screen, displaying the shortcuts of the top N application programs in term of usage frequency in the current period of time at preset positions of the mobile phone screen. According to the present invention, icons of the application programs are displayed on the mobile phone screen according to the use frequencies, so as to ensure that the user can start Apps fast enough.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and electronic device for dynamic reminding of live broadcast contents, wherein the method includes: acquiring live broadcast appointment information submitted by a user, the live broadcast appointment information comprising live broadcast content information and/or appointment time information; determining an appointment time point according to the live broadcast appointment information, the appointment time point being a time point when the live broadcast content appointed by the user begins to play; and when the current time point reaches the appointment time point, pushing a live broadcast message to the user, and switching a live broadcast icon from a stationary state to a dynamic reminding state. According to the method, the live broadcast icon is dynamically changed to remind the user of the presence of a currently live-broadcasted content, without affecting the appearance of the live broadcast icon.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and electronic device for video recommendation. The method for video recommendation includes: collecting a device usage habit and interesting contents of a user, and acquiring video information associated with the device usage habit and the interesting contents; dividing the video information into multiple classes of video recommendation information according to a preset classification rule, the video recommendation information comprising an introduction, a name and/or a poster of a video; and pushing a video recommendation information prompt containing the multiple classes of video recommendation information to a user, and displaying the video recommendation information prompt at a preset position on the screen of a mobile phone of the user. According to the present invention, videos with personalized preferences can be automatically recommended to different users according to personal preferences of usage habits, interesting contents and the like of the users.
