Abstract: A printer apparatus in which a multi-nozzle print head can be produced at low cost and which can deal with changes caused with lapse of time. With the printer apparatus, effective resolution can be improved and a more accurate gradation level in picture printing can be achieved for assuring uniform printing quality. The printer apparatus has a shading correction unit 14 for correcting the picture printing data signal for printing using shading correction data previously found and stored in the EE-PROM 10 and shading correction data entered from a man/machine interfacing unit 2 and for generating a head impression signal for driving a print head 16 based on the corrected picture printing data.
