  • Patent number: 11849731
Abstract: Provided is a method of imparting antibacterial and deodorant functions by reacting iodic acid, and a material that is given antibacterial and deodorant functions. The method of imparting antibacterial and deodorant function is as follows. Reacting iodate to a material that includes elements capable of producing iodate insoluble in water and non-toxic to a living body to form iodic acid of such elements on the surface of the material, thereby the iodate is made to be supported so that antibacterial and deodorant is possible without elution of said iodate to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20220039375
Abstract: Provided is an iodine-supporting composite material, which controls the volatility and elution of iodine by making iodine supported on plural kinds of activated carbon or fiber and mixing them, thereby the intensity of the bactericidal effect against microorganism can be changed. Migrating iodine from the state strongly retained in a material such as activated carbon or fibers to the material such as activated carbon or fibers having weak iodine adsorptivity which is made contacted, mixed, compounded, or mixed-spun with the strong iodine-adsorptivity materials, thereby, the rate of releasing iodine into the air or elution in water can be controlled. The iodine acts on the surrounding microorganisms in proportion to the rate at which iodine volatilizes or elutes and the intensity of these actions can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 7760460
Abstract: A head integrated circuit for driving a head. The head includes at least a head unit and a heating element for adjusting the spacing between the head and a storage medium. The head integrated circuit includes at least a read amplifier for amplifying the read signal from the head unit and a heater drive circuit for driving the heating element. The heater drive circuit includes a measuring circuit configured to measure the level of power supplied to the heating element, an error calculating circuit configured to calculate an error between a predetermined power level and the measured power level, a pulse width modulation circuit configured to modulate the error into a pulse width, and a switch configured to operate in response to a pulse from the pulse width modulation circuit and supply power to the heating element.

  • Publication number: 20090213483
Abstract: A magnetic head drive device drives a heater element for controlling a protrusion amount of the magnetic head. The heater drive circuit of the heater element of the magnetic head, in which a read element, a write element and a heat element is included, is constructed by the PWM modulation method. A pair of heater wiring lines is made of a path in which the signal polarity is inverted. Therefore cross-talk noise, to the read wiring line, can be decreased even if PWM driving is executed.
