  • Publication number: 20240145691
Abstract: The present invention is related to a novel positive electrode active material for lithium-ion battery. The positive electrode active material is expressed by the following formula: Li1.2NixMn0.8-x-yZnyO2, wherein x and y satisfy 0<x?0.8 and 0<y?0.1. In addition, the present invention provides a method of manufacturing the positive electrode active material. The present invention further provides a lithium-ion battery which uses said positive electrode active material.

  • Patent number: 8019157
Abstract: Vehicle segmentation and counting method based on the property of color variation and headlight information combining change detection in nighttime traffic environment (one-way road with coming direction) is provided. The goal is to reduce the effect of ground-illumination that decreases the accuracy of vehicle segmentation. Besides, the amount of traffic flow is calculated and it can be used in other post-applications, such as traffic-flow reporting or controlling.

  • Publication number: 20070095180
Abstract: A method for cutting a DWDM filter from a substrate is disclosed, including a two-step process having an initial cutting step and a subsequent cutting step. The initial cutting step forms a slot on a substrate according to size requirement of a finished filter product. The slot has a width larger than the thickness of a cutter employed to perform cutting operation on the substrate. The subsequent cutting step, taken in the slot, completely cuts through the remaining thickness of the substrate to separate the filter from the substrate. The two-phase cutting process avoids corner breaking caused by direct contact between the cutter and the coating layers of the substrate.
