A vehicle control device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a display unit including a first region and a second region different from the first region, a sensing unit configured to sense that either one of both hands holding a steering wheel is separated from the steering wheel, and a processor configured to activate either one of the first region and the second region so as to allow a touch input based on either one hand being separated from the steering wheel.
