    Abstract: A rotating four-dimensional intracardiac ultrasound imaging system including an ultrasound system, a slip ring, a host end connector, a catheter end connector, a motor, a one-dimensional transducer, a sheath and a torque coil is introduced. The ultrasound system is connected to the transducer through the slip ring, two connectors, a cable and the torque coil in sequence. The motor drives the slip ring, connectors, torque coil and transducer to rotate unidirectionally and uniformly at a high speed. Meanwhile, the transducer is for two-dimensional imaging and acquires multiple two-dimensional images uniformly around the rotation axis. Then multiple two-dimensional images acquired at different rotation angles are reconstructed as four-dimensional images.

    Abstract: A four-dimensional ultrasound imaging system including an ultrasound system, a two-dimensional capacitive ultrasound transducer, and an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) chip is introduced. Specifically, a transmission driving circuit and a receiving circuit are integrated in the ASIC for driving the transducer to transmit ultrasound beams and receive reflected echoes. The ASIC is configured to perform microchip pre-beamforming on the received signals to reduce channel number, and then the processed signals are transmitted to the ultrasound system for analog to digital conversion, beamforming and coordinate conversion. A four-dimensional ultrasound image is obtained by fast and repeatedly acquiring three-dimensional images. In the present application, the ASIC chip is integrated in the transducer, so that the two-dimensional transducer can have fewer wires.

A user terminal in a non-terrestrial network may identify an uplink reference signal format that includes a comb-based pattern of subcarriers within a first orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and within a second OFDM symbol for transmission of an uplink reference signal. The user terminal may map the uplink reference signal to a first set of subcarriers within the first OFDM symbol and to a second set of subcarriers within the second OFDM symbol in accordance with the comb-based pattern. Thereby, the user terminal may transmit, to a base station in the non-terrestrial network, the uplink reference signal on the mapped subcarriers of the OFDM symbols, which may be transmitted coherently.

As such, served UEs may determine UL timing such that UL transmissions from the UEs to a satellite arrives at the satellite in a time synchronized manner.
