  • Patent number: 9562859
Abstract: An analysis device for performing analysis about a substance by using an analysis chip having therein a reaction area that reacts with the substance is provided. The analysis device includes: a control section in contact with the analysis chip; a first sensor for measuring an ambient temperature of the analysis chip; a second sensor for measuring the temperature at a contact area of the control section in contact with the analysis chip, and a control circuit for performing feedback control of the control section by finding a temperature of the contact area for achieving a desired temperature of the reaction area based on the ambient temperature measured by the first sensor and a temperature gradient between a position at which the ambient temperature is measured and the reaction area, setting the found temperature as a target value and setting the temperature detected by the second sensor as an output value.

  • Patent number: 8749787
Abstract: Excitation light beam is irradiated onto a test region while shifting the irradiation position thereof, when performing analysis of a target substance using an analysis chip having the test region within a flow channel through which a sample solution is caused to flow, for capturing the target substance within the sample solution. Fluorescence generated at the test region is detected as a plurality of adjustment fluorescence signals. The target substance is analyzed using fluorescence generated when the excitation light beam is irradiated at an irradiation position within the test region determined based on the plurality of adjustment fluorescence signals.

  • Publication number: 20110236262
Abstract: A biological substance detecting apparatus that enables stable detection and quantitative analysis of biologically derived target substances is provided. The biological substance detecting apparatus employs a sensor chip provided with a fine flow channel through which a sample liquid is caused to flow, and a sensor surface that adsorbs a biologically derived target substance. Light is irradiated onto the sensor surface, and light emitted by the adsorbed target substance or a labeling substance bound thereto is detected. A flow speed controlling means, for controlling the flow speed of the sample liquid that flows through the fine flow channel to a value within a range such that the adsorption speed of the target substance is not controlled by dispersion.

  • Publication number: 20100101652
Abstract: A pipette chip has an opening section to be inserted into a supply port of a liquid channel, which connects the supply port and a discharge port of a liquid, and reserves the liquid to be supplied to the liquid channel. In a liquid feeding apparatus, the pipette chip is controlled to insert the opening section into the supply port. Suction and discharge of the liquid and a gas in the pipette chip are controlled to form an air layer at the opening section by sucking the air from the opening section before inserting the opening section into the supply port.

  • Publication number: 20060157526
Abstract: A motor is driven according to a total feeding amount of a recording paper calculated based on the number of prints. When a gear is rotated in a counterclockwise direction, an end of a coil spring is moved upward and a retaining arm is rotated. A tip of a separation plate fixed to the retaining arm is moved to a contact position in which the tip contacts an outer peripheral surface of a paper roll. The separation plate presses the outer peripheral surface with a constant pressing force by a coil spring. When the paper roll is rotated, the separation plate separates a paper end. Thereafter, the gear is rotated in a clockwise direction to move the end of the coil spring downward so that the separation plate moves to a retracting position away from the outer peripheral surface. During printing, the separation plate is in the retracting position.
