Abstract: Provided is a copolymer that functions as a silicone-based leveling agent having leveling properties and recoatability. Specifically, a random copolymer including: a structural unit A derived from a polymerizable monomer (a1) having a functional group represented by —Si[OSi(R)3]n[R?]3-n and a (meth)acryloyl group; and a structural unit B derived from a polymerizable monomer (a2) having one or more selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an aromatic groups having from 6 to 18 carbon atoms, and a group containing a polyoxyalkylene chain, wherein the random copolymer contains the structural unit A in an amount of from 50 to 80 mass % with respect to a total of the structural units A and B, and the random copolymer has the weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 10000 or more.
