Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for displaying a video playback page, an electronic device, and a medium. A specific implementation of the method includes: displaying the video playback page, where the video playback page includes a video playback view and a progress adjustment control for adjusting video playback progress; and updating a progress displayed in the progress adjustment control based on a playback progress of a currently played video in the video playback view at intervals of a target duration, where the target duration is determined based on a size of a screen of a video playback device and a total duration of the currently played video. This implementation realizes differentiation of callback duration for videos of different durations, thereby avoiding a video freeze caused by setting a fixed callback duration.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for adjusting a view for a target device, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium are provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure. A specific implementation of the method includes: determining whether a currently playing video is a video of a first type in response to detecting a change of a posture of the target device; and adjusting a display direction of the video-stream-play view to match the posture of the target device and adjusting a display position and/or transparency of the at least one video-stream-play interactive control in response to determining that the currently playing video is the video of the first type. This implementation achieves matching of the view with the posture of the target device and enhances adaptability of the video-stream-play interactive control with the adjusted video-stream-play view.

A specific implementation of the method includes: displaying a video page, the video page including a video playback view and a dialog box, and a progress adjustment control being displayed in the dialog box, wherein the view hierarchy of the dialog box is higher than the view hierarchy of the video playback view and the remaining controls in the video page; and in response to detecting a first user operation on the progress adjustment control, adjusting the progress of a video currently being played back in the video page, and updating the progress displayed in the progress adjustment control. The described implementation achieves the reuse of a progress adjustment control between different pages.
