Abstract: A method for gracefully shutdown a virtual system is disclosed, and the method includes: gracefully shutdown configuration information configured for the virtual system is received and stored; and sequential shutting down of virtual machines is performed according to the stored gracefully shutdown configuration information when a request for shutting down the virtual system is received, so as to solve problems caused by the fact that virtual machines are shut down according completely to a reverse order of starting-up in the prior art.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to wireless communication and, more specifically, to network support for configuration management in a Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access Femto Network. In one exemplary embodiment, offline and/or updated configuration information is obtained by a WiMAX Femto Access Point from a management server whether the WiMAX Femto Access Point is active or inactive and before or after initial network entry. Configuration information synchronization may also be performed before or after initial network entry.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for protocol configuration in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the system includes an access service network device configured to receive a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) message, including protocol configuration information of a mobile station, and to relay at least a portion of the protocol configuration information to a data server to which the mobile station seeks access. The protocol configuration information is translated to a protocol used by the access service network device and the data server, before relaying the protocol configuration information. The access service network device can act as a proxy or a relay between the mobile station and the data server. According to an embodiment, the wireless communication system includes a WiMAX communication system.
