Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image generation method and apparatus and a mobile terminal. The image generation method includes: acquiring an initial image by using an image acquisition member; generating at least two layers including a processing layer having an object to be processed and a background layer for background display, based on the initial image; processing the object to be processed to obtain a processed processing layer, and/or processing the background layer to obtain a processed background layer; and merging the at least two layers including the processed processing layer and/or the processed background layer to obtain an image. Through the embodiments of the present disclosure, the personalized image shooting can be carried out in real time to obtain better user experiences.
