    Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is use of a long-acting ?2AR agonist or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in preparation of drugs for treating cancer. The long-acting ?2AR agonist of the present invention can target ?2AR on the surface of a cancer cell membrane as a single functional molecular target, and perform targeted inhibition on a self-renewal capability of cancer stem cells to exert a function of inhibiting cancer initiation and progression. Therefore, the ?2AR agonist may be clinically used for treating cancer. In addition, as a repurposed drug, the long-acting ?2AR agonist may exhibit enhanced clinical translation potential and druggability.
