  • Publication number: 20180244192
Abstract: An ATV or UV without a body control module includes a daytime running light control module. Daytime running lights are turned on when the engine speed, as indicated by the ECU microprocessor, is equal to or greater than a threshold and when each of the standard and bright headlights and right and left turn indicator lights are off. Otherwise the daytime running lights are turned off. If desired, the microcontroller performing the daytime running light control method may be the same microcontroller which controls the starter motor relay.

  • Patent number: 8159536
Abstract: A background image is generated based on a captured image. A data cluster is formed in pixel blocks of the background image using at least one feature of pixels in the pixel blocks. A data cluster formed in each pixel block includes a data distribution having a mean value and a standard deviation from the mean value. After generating the background image, each pixel of a subsequent captured image is compared with the data cluster of a pixel block of the background image to generate a first discrepancy value. A pixel of a subsequent image is compared with a data distribution of another adjacent pixel block of the background image to generate a second discrepancy value. Based on the discrepancy values, the pixels of the subsequent image are regarded as background or foreground pixels in a binary map, in which connected foreground pixels are marked to form a foreground object.

  • Publication number: 20110288927
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that utilize relevance judgments to estimate a discounted cumulative gain. In embodiments, a query:ad pair including a search query and at least one advertisement is identified. The at least one advertisement is identified as having not been previously associated with the search query and not as not having associated therewith a relevance judgment. An estimated relevance judgment is calculated and utilized to calculate an estimated discounted cumulative gain for the search query.

  • Publication number: 20100312608
Abstract: Described herein are techniques and components for displaying a text advertisement in an online video being viewed by a user. The advertisement is selected based on keywords associated with the online video or the user, and the selected advertisement is presented as an overlay on the rendered video over regions of frames determined to be less important in the video. To determine importance, every frame of the online video is divided into grids, and parameters of the visual data in each grid are analyzed. Based on the analysis of each grid, regions in successive frames are identified to display the selected advertisement.

  • Publication number: 20070273765
Abstract: At least one image of the environment is taken using either an image capturing device of the monitoring system. Based on the image of the environment, at least one background image is generated. The background image, which comprises a plurality of pixels, is divided into pixel blocks. In each pixel block, at least one data cluster is formed using at least one feature of the pixels in the pixel block. The data cluster formed in each pixel block is described as a data distribution having a mean value and a standard deviation from the mean value. After generating the background image, a subsequent image is taken by the monitoring system. Each pixel of the subsequent image is compared with the data cluster of the block of the background image correspond to the pixel, and a first discrepancy value is generated accordingly.
