    Abstract: A switching controller includes a detection module configured to detect a type of an indoor device of an air conditioning system that is connected to the switching controller, and a control module connected to the detection module and configured to obtain a control parameter based on the type of the indoor device and send the control parameter to an outdoor unit controller of an outdoor unit of the air conditioning system via a communication connection between the switching controller and the outdoor unit controller to control the outdoor unit. The detection module includes a voltage detection unit configured to detect a voltage parameter of the indoor device to generate a voltage detection signal. The detection module is configured to determine, in response to determining based on the voltage detection signal that the voltage parameter of the indoor device satisfies a predetermined condition, the indoor device to be a wired controller.
