  • Patent number: 11333052
Abstract: An injection valve is provided in a cooling device. An outer jacket is provided at an outside of the injection valve. A cylindrical partitioning unit divides an annular space into an outside passage on a side of the outer jacket and an inside passage on a side of the injection valve. A second pipe portion supplies cooling water into the annular space and a first pipe portion discharges the cooling water from the annular space. A first restricting portion is provided between the first pipe portion and the second pipe portion and it restricts a flow of the cooling water in the outside passage from a part on a side of the second pipe portion to a part on a side of the first pipe portion. A second restricting portion is provided at a position on a side of the first pipe portion opposite to an injection port. The second restricting portion restricts the flow of the cooling water between the outside and the inside passages.

  • Patent number: 10876652
Abstract: A cooling device includes: a first port into which coolant flows; a first passage connected to the first port and extending to a periphery of a tip portion of an injection valve; a second port provided above the first port, through which the coolant flows out; a second passage connected to the first passage and extending from the periphery of the tip portion and connected to the second port; and a movable member configured to move in response to a flow of the coolant within a height between the first port and the second port to communicate the first passage and the second passage with each other when a flow rate of the coolant is lower than a predetermined flow rate and to disconnect the first passage and the second passage from each other when the flow rate of the coolant is higher than the predetermined flow rate.

  • Patent number: 10753253
Abstract: A cooling device configured to cool, using a coolant, an injection valve that injects an additive includes a rotary member surrounding an outer periphery of the injection valve and extending along the injection valve. The rotary member is supported to be rotatable around the injection valve. A clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the injection valve and an inner peripheral surface of the rotary member defines a passage through which the coolant flows. The rotary member has a rotation imparting part that causes the rotary member to rotate about the injection valve in response to a flow of the coolant.

  • Patent number: 9387822
Abstract: An airbag device includes an inflator, an airbag, a holding member, and a gas rectifying member. The holding member has an opening to be formed at least when the airbag initiates to inflate. The holding member restricts the inflation of the airbag toward its outer periphery until the middle of the deployment of the airbag. The gas rectifying member restricts a flow of a gas toward an occupant and has an outlet port that discharges the gas toward the outer periphery of the airbag. When the airbag inflates, the gas rectifying member projects toward the occupant through the opening of the holding member, and the gas of the inflator causes the gas rectifying member to inflate until at least part of the outlet port is located at the occupant side beyond the opening of the holding member.
