  • Publication number: 20250177962
Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a transition metal nanoparticle support, the method including the steps of: (I) obtaining a mixture by mixing a polymeric organic compound, an oxide of at least one transition metal or a hydroxide of at least one transition metal, and an oxide or hydroxide of at least one element selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, aluminum, and lanthanoids; (II) obtaining a solid residue by heating the mixture; and (III) obtaining, from the solid residue, a support in which nanoparticles of the transition metal are supported.

  • Publication number: 20250001376
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of determining a degree of mixing of particles of interest includes, for determining the degree of mixing of the particles of interest from a mixture containing the particles of interest, calculating and determining a size to be sampled from the mixture based on a relationship formula between a total size of the mixture and a size per particle of interest.

  • Publication number: 20100108941
Abstract: To simultaneously overcome a drawback in that proceeding of a solid phase carbonization reaction requires high temperature and a drawback in that the reaction requires use of expensive materials. A method for producing a carbide of a Group IVA, VA, or VIA transition metal in the periodic table and/or a composite carbide of the transition metal and iron, the method including the step of co-milling a ferroalloy containing a Group IVA, VA, or VIA transition metal in the periodic table and incidental impurities and a carbon material mainly composed of carbon in a vacuum or an atmosphere of an inert gas to effect a solid phase reaction between the ferroalloy and the carbon material.
