    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for manufacturing an iron core product includes providing an iron core body which includes a magnet insertion hole in which a permanent magnet is disposed, injecting a molten resin into the magnet insertion hole of the iron core body at a first pressure, and setting a pressure applied to the molten resin to a second pressure lower than the first pressure after the molten resin is injected into the magnet insertion hole and before the molten resin is cured.

The second direction is different from the first direction. An identification code having a predetermined pattern comprises a combination of the base region and the marking.

The method further includes reading the first identification code with a reading device, and forming a second identification code onto the surface of the metal member subsequent to the heating with a laser beam based on the first identification code which is read with the reading device. The second identification code is readable under a second reading condition different from the first reading condition.
