  • Publication number: 20260271098
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may start a deactivation timer to determine whether to deactivate a cell. When the deactivation timer expires, the UE may deactivate the cell, such as a secondary cell (SCell), which may reduce power consumption by the UE. However, using a timer may result in inefficiencies. Various aspects relate generally to cell state change, such as for SCell activation or deactivation. For example, a UE may detect an occurrence of an event and change a state of a cell. In some aspects, the UE may activate a cell, deactivate a cell, transition to or from a lightly-activated state for a cell, or perform another cell state change action in connection with an event.

  • Publication number: 20260255188
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as a customer premises equipment (CPE), may transmit a first capability message indicating a first set of communication parameters associated with one or more mechanically-displaceable antenna panels of the wireless device. The wireless device may then communicate during a first time interval in accordance with the first set of communication parameters. Subsequently, upon identifying a change/degradation in the communication parameters, the wireless device may transmit a second capability message indicating a second set of communication parameters associated with one or more mechanically-displaceable antenna panels. The wireless device may then communicate during a second time interval in accordance with the second set of communication parameters. Thus, the wireless device may dynamically update communication parameters based on the mechanical degradation of the mechanically-displaceable antenna panels.

  • Publication number: 20260254563
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may measure inter-band interference between uplink communications transmitted by the UE and downlink communications received by the UE. In such cases, the inter-band interference may be based on a second frequency band associated with the uplink communications being within a threshold frequency of a first frequency band associated with the downlink communications. For example, the first frequency band may be associated with a first frequency of 3.5 gigahertz and the second frequency band may be associated with a second frequency of 7 gigahertz. As such, the UE may transmit a report indicative of the inter-band interference between uplink communications and downlink communications based on measurement of the inter-band interference. In such cases, the report may include an indication of one or more metrics associated with the inter-band interference.
