Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a circuitry to: based on detected health data of a first circuit board of multiple circuit boards to load firmware from an associated first storage, cause the first circuit board to load the firmware from a second storage associated with a second circuit board of the multiple circuit boards and based on authentication of the loaded firmware, cause boot operations of the first circuit board using the loaded firmware. In some examples, the circuitry comprises a management controller. In some examples, the health data is based on malfunction of a storage medium of the first storage or malfunction of an interface to the first storage.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus comprising interface circuitry, machine-readable instructions and processing circuitry to execute the machine-readable instructions. The machine-readable instructions include instructions to receive a request to reassign a CXL device from a first host to a second host. The machine-readable instructions include instructions to transmit, to a first management controller of the first host, a request for retrieving an error record of the CXL device. The machine-readable instructions include instructions to receive, from the first management controller, the error record. The machine-readable instructions include instructions to transmit, to a second management controller of a second host, a request for storing the error record of the CXL device. The machine-readable instructions include instructions to bind the CXL device to the second host after receiving a confirmation indicating successful storing of the error record at the second host.

Abstract: Provided is a method comprising obtaining information about a detected memory error in a memory device, the memory device being connected to a first host via a compute express link, CXL, interface. The method comprises further recording the memory error information into a firmware of the memory device.
